SUGGESTED READINGS FOR EXPANDING YOUR KNOWLEDGE ON HEALTH, WELLNESS AND NUTRITION
Here is a collection of books that I absolutely love!... Some because they're fantastic references, others because they provide a whole new perspective on what it means to be "healthy," and others because they are just totally fascinating (Did you know that Crimini mushrooms are the only non-animal source of CLA - a cancer-fighting and weight reducing omega 6 fatty acid?... I learned this from "The World's Healthiest Foods"!). Every time I sit down to a meal, I am skimming one of my favorite books about the food I am eating, or a health topic that I am interested in that day. So I thought I would share some of those favorites on this page, in hopes that you, too, might find yourself getting as immersed in the information as I do when I learn something new about food and health! And please, if you have any great books that you think should be on the list, send me an email!... I'm always looking for new knowledge and resources to share!
