2. EAT WHEN YOU’RE HUNGRY AND DRINK WATER WHEN YOU’RE THIRSTY. DON’T EAT OR DRINK WHEN YOUR BODY ISN’T ASKING FOR IT.
3. TRY TO GO TO BED BEFORE 10 PM AND SLEEP AT LEAST 8 HOURS.
4. IF YOU DON’T HAVE ANY SOCIAL PLANS SCHEDULED, MAKE IT A POINT TO AT LEAST CALL A FRIEND FOR A FEW MINUTES OF CHATTING AND “CHECKING IN.”
5. ADD LEMON TO YOUR WATER FOR AN ALKALIZING EFFECT. IDEALLY, A BIG GLASS OF WATER WITH 1-2 TBSP. OF LEMON JUICE CONCENTRATE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING, ALONG WITH A PROBIOTIC, IS AN AWESOME WAY TO FINISH OFF YOUR BODIE’S CLEANSING FAST FROM THE 8 HOURS OF SLEEP IT RECEIVED.
6. ADD 2 TBSP. OF APPLE CIDER VINEGAR TO A BIG GLASS OF WATER AND DRINK CLOSE TO GOING TO BED. THIS HELPS TO RESTORE YOUR LIVER WHILE YOU SLEEP, AS WELL AS STABILIZES YOUR BLOOD SUGAR THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT.
7. EAT AS CLEAN AS YOU CAN THROUGHOUT THE DAY… THINK COLORFUL VEGGIES (RAW & STEAMED... EVEN FOR BREAKFAST!), HEALTHY FATS (ESPECIALLY COCONUT OIL, BUTTER, GHEE, EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, FLAXSEED OIL), ORGANIC MEATS, PASTURE-RAISED EGGS, AVOCADOS, & RAW NUTS (IN MODERATION). 9. TAKE THE APPROPRIATE VITAMIN SUPPLEMENTS FOR YOUR PARTICULAR NEEDS. I BELIEVE EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE A GOOD PROBIOTIC, A FULL TABLESPOON OF "HIGH-VITAMIN A" COD LIVER OIL AND FOOD-BASED MULTI-VITAMIN EVERY DAY. I AM ALSO A BIG FAN OF DIGESTIVE ENZYMES WITH EACH MEAL.
10. GET IN THE HABIT OF MAKING HOMEMADE STOCK ON A REGULAR BASIS TO SIP ON A FEW TIMES A DAY, AS YOU WOULD TEA. (IDEALLY STOCK SHOULD BE MADE FROM THE BONES OF ANIMALS THAT WERE FED 100% GRASS CONTINUOUSLY.)
